Teflon Stringer belts are made from PTFE they have a variety of uses, but are also used on stringer solar panel welding lines.
They are referred to as “stringer belts”. They transport solar panels which are held in place via vacuum holes along the belt.
We make the belts by laminating two layers of PTFE glass cloth together. Usually the inner layer is black and the top layer is brown. The reason for this is so we can create a belt that has even thickness through. I.E the joint thickness is the same as the rest of the belt.
We make these stringer belts so they will have high dimensional stability and long lifetime and good performance against a normal PTFE belt.
