UHMW Tape

UHMW (Ultra High Molecular Weight) polyethylene tapes can be used as an abrasion-resistant, anti-stick, anti friction surface at temperatures up to 180°F.

UHMW film tape is frequently used to line chutes and conveyors. This is often applied to guide rails to reduce noise levels in places such as bottling plants. UHMW tape is also used to replace desk drawer bearings to provide silky smooth, friction-free drawer movement.

Ultra High Molecular Weight Polyethylene (UHMW) film which has a strong permanent acrylic adhesive. It is low abrasion & friction resistance. Giving ideal protection for bearings and applications with heavy wear.

  • Use this tape to increase movement for concrete, metal, wood, tiles, stone & other coverings.
  • This tape is commonly used on drawer slides, chute liners, wear pads, guide rails as well as conveyors.
  • Can be used to reduce noise between parts.
