Product Overview

We supply Techweld release sheets both online and to custom order. These sheets are made from PTFE-coated glass fabrics, which are premium-grade materials ideal for high-volume production facilities that require a tough surface with excellent release properties.

Applications

Techweld release sheets are used as a release medium for UPVC window welding machinery, covering the high-temperature platens that weld the plastic faces before joining. The end profile of the UPVC frame to be welded is pressed firmly against the PTFE material’s surface. Due to the repeated impact on the PTFE surface over prolonged periods, Techweld needs to be strong enough to resist damage, ensuring maximum working life with minimum downtime.
