Home > PTFE Bag Seal Belts
PTFE bag sealing belts are ideal for applications requiring thermal transfer through the belt surface to seal plastic bags.
Applications:
High-volume bag manufacturing systems often use these belts in pairs to create a clamping effect on the bag.
PTFE bag sealing belts are also used in air fill or air cushioning packaging machines to enable continuous heat sealing without plastic sticking to the belt.
Sealer belts typically consist of two belts running in tandem on the conveyor with a hot plate contacting the inside of the belts as they run. The heat transfers through the belt surface, sealing the plastic bag as it moves through the machine.
Features & Benefits:
Constructed with two layers of PTFE-coated glass cloth laminated together, these belts are free of any step at the joint area that could leave a mark off.
The premium-grade PTFE used in manufacturing the belts has a non-stick, high-temperature-resistant surface that prevents molten plastics from building up on the belt’s surface.
Material Properties:
Non-stick PTFE surface
Temperature resistant up to 500°F
Lightweight and energy-efficient for economical operation
