PTFE Glass Cloth Thats Metal Detectable

We are now able to offer a non-adhesive metal detectable PTFE glass cloth material. This product is ideal for patching small holes in PTFE food process conveyor belts that have suffered any surface damage. The material is black in colour and benefits form being food approved. This covers both USA & European specifications.

The material has a nominal thickness of 0.12mm thick which is thin enough to allow efficient heat transfer, but thick enough to be strong and durable.

The type of PTFE (Teflon) coating allows the patch to be directly welded to the surface of a PTFE coated glass cloth material without the use of PFA films. The means the patch is easier to apply for the operator.

The material is offered in 15 meter long rolls and can be slit to order in widths ranging from 10mm wide to 1000mm wide. Most metal detectable PTFE patches are around 50mm wide.
