The above machines are designed to relax the fabrics. When the textiles have been knitted and dyed, then can become stressed and therefor need to be relaxed again. This takes the material back to a more natural state.

The method of doing this is usually between two large conveyor belts. The belts tend to be around 2500mm wide and around 30 metres in length.

The tensionless relax dryer belts also need to be able to work at elevated temperature. This is because warm air is gently circulated around the fabric as it is conveyed through the oven. This process takes place with air that is warmed to around (300 & 350°F / 150 & 180°C).

Techbelt specialises in manufacturing wide belts. The width we can offer is up to 5200mm in width.

Our typical grade of material is GM2-95-NA. Our code broken down in as follows:

• GM = Glass Mesh.
• 2 = two wefts (this is used for added stability of our belts, especially on wider belts).
• 95 = this is the nominal thickness of the material which is 0.95mm thick.
• NA = Non adhesive. This is used because we have other product within our range that have self-adhesive one side.

We manufacture our belts with a special anti-crack edge reinforcement. This also has our company name to identify you are receiving a high-quality product not offered anywhere else.

The tensionless relax dryer belts are supplied with either a bullnose loop joint or a Peek spiral joint. This is usually down to customer preference.
